DIMMER stands for District Information Modelling and Management for Energy Reduction. This project is coordinated by the Politecnico di Torino, with test sites in Turin and Manchester. The aim of the project is to integrate BIM and district level 3D models with real-time data from sensors and user feedback to analyse and correlate buildings utilization and provide real-time feedback about energy-related behaviours.

OPTIMUS stands for Optimising Energy Use in Cities Through Smart Decision Support Systems. This project is coordinated by the National Technical University in Athens, with test sites in Savona, Sant Cugat del Valles, and Zaanstad. The aim of the project is to design and develop a Decision Support System as an integrated web-platform to help local authorities to show the best energy saving opportunities available in public buildings.

The workshop is aimed at examining common themes amongst the projects then breaking into three Parallel Sessions looking at:

•User identification and data required

•Technologies developed

•Data management and visualization

The event, scheduled to take place in Turin, Italy on September 14-15, 2016 will be attended on by Nicolas Urbina (Galliera Hospital), Aidan Melia (IES), and Alberto Mussetti (Dappolonia) on behalf of the INDICATE project.
